Our Team

ML2 is a machine learning research team of KC, a semiconductor and display solutions company. Started in 2018, ML2 was built on the mission of creating sustainable value through open-source machine learning technologies.

Since then, ML2 has continued to grow with its members through a wide range of R&D efforts — from publishing papers at top academic conferences like ICML and cover articles in journals such as ACS Photonics, to developing open-source software like LLVM-FLOW and presenting it at developer conferences such as EuroLLVM.

With the rapid rise of generative AI and diverse directions in machine learning, we’re now focused on taking things to the next level.

Our Goal

Building on our research and development experiences, we now focus on developing and sharing key components of the value chain of open-source ML platforms with a broad community of developers and users.

Our first goal is to create a stand-alone ML system that runs on commodity hardware and open source software — a platform that’s easy to use for both developers and users.
